No, not every religion mentions "God", e.g Buddhism.

In what ways, though, do these religions mention God? Mentioning something doesn't entail that what is in fact mentioned is mentioned in an accurate nor even an honorable way. We could mention something, although we might do so falsely. We might also mention something and it be in a dishonorable way. Why might God accept a religion which mentioned him, albeit in a dishonorable or false way?

Further, would mentioning "God" entail the acceptance of it by God? That is, what is about a religion mentioning "God" that implies God's acceptance of it? I'm not sure I understand why you might think God would in fact accept a religion merely based upon a religion mentioning Him.

It would seem to me that God would approve of those religions that represent Him in an accurate fashion, while presenting what is true and upholding what is good. Since all religions deviate on the nature of God, his word, and what in fact is true regarding more spiritual things all religions cannot be the same or even said to be representing the same thing. If there is in fact a religion that conveys God's word and truth accurately, then it would be this one religion that we ought to follow. Of course, the next question is "Which religion is that?" Welcome to the club of being human and searching for truth. If you wish for such truth to be revealed, ask God to show it to you and be ready to accept it.

In my heart and mind that religion is Christianity. I won't, though, tell you to blindly jump into the religion based upon my word alone. I simply ask you to open your mind and look for answers and be honest enough to accept the conclusions people give you when you ask questions while looking to know what religion is in fact the truth. If you're earnestly seeking to know God - and what He has revealed to those who wish to know him - call out and tell him that, and ask for his guidance to the truth. Search with honesty and diligence, though.

Good answers as to why some very intelligence men across the world have honored Christianity as that religion can be found in a book called "Why I'm a Christian". That might be a good place to start.

Frodo could wander the whole of Middle Earth

He would not find Tolkien

Nor anything that was not Tolkien.

If Frodo prayed it would be to Illuvitar not Tolkien. And this is Religion.

God is the Logos. We are the manifestation of God.

All our good. All our evil. This is all the unfolding power and presence of God.

The 'approval' of God is that you have succeeded in passing on your genes & memes. The precise shape of the faith that helped you do this is not really an issue.

The Religion that makes you successful is the one God approves of.

I’ve never understood how God could expect

His creatures to pick the one true religion

by faith—it strikes me as a sloppy way to run a universe.

Jesus stated, " i'm the way , the fact and the existence. No guy contains God different than by using me." many faiths have a God yet in basic terms one has Jesus in it. The sacrificial objective of Jesus is what must be desperate on.

most religions branch off of a common religion.there is but one god.and you will know him by his good works.so the question you have to ask is,is your religion doing good, not evil.when you have faith in god.he will reveal himself to you.ask many questions, and pick the religion that seems most loving and peaceful to you.get to know god,and then you can talk to him just assuradly as im talking to you.he will guide your every step.

god bless you

if a man steps onto the world scene and ties all the major religions together and claims to be god, he is the antichrist. so be pro Christ who doesn't need a tv commercial to announce His second coming.
