I was thinking about moderation in life and all things and I realized that I have learned this lesson in life more then once, and I am still learning this lesson. So do we learn the lesson of moderation all through out life?

Sometimes something is just soooogoooood, you just can't help yourself from wanting more and more. Like chocolate cake. Then after your belly aches (or hangover happens) you think, why did I do that to myself. Moderation is pretty easy for awhile after that, but then it's soooogooood again......Is it the remembering of the aftereffects of not moderating that we call maturation????

I agree, we learn the lesson moderation all through life. I'll take it one step further, we learn & relearn most lessons all through life :-) Except maybe the peeing on hill or putting hand on a hot stove; once is usually enough, lol.

Yes, I think we do. New experiences bring out learning and it teaches us lessons to do better in life. It's common for a lesson to repeat itself, especially a good one such as this.
