Can anybody list down items which clearly layout how one should conduct himself in life. I know there are many self-help and religious books and Upanishads that would elaborate on this. But can anyone help me jolt down the summary because there is too much material on the web and too many religious books.

“Your task is not to seek for Love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” - Rumi

True, unconditional Love is ALWAYS recognized by It's Virtues; Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, Gratitude, Humility, Charity (charity is never taking more than your share of anything, ever!), Honesty, Happiness, Faith...

ALWAYS!

(Now you can tell the real thing from the cheap Chinese knock-offs of the ego! *__- )

Love requires practice, like a fine violin!

Practice! Practice! Practice!

Who is unworthy of Love?!

"If it cannot be thought with Love,

it doesn't need to be thought!

Don't think it!

If it cannot be spoken with Love,

it doesn't need to be said!

Don't say it!

If it cannot be done with Love,

it doesn't need to be done!

Don't do it!

If the day cannot be Saved by Love,

the day isn't worth saving,

offer it up with Love!!"

Wage Love! Practice Compassion!

My belief system (Taoism) says "be the animal you are". So I have no idea how you should conduct your life because I am not in your life.

I steer my life by the words of Rabbi Hillel:

"If I am not for me, who will be?..."

and by the Prayer of St. Francis "it us better to understand than to be understood..."

After that I follow or rebel against the values of my community to the degree that they meet or deny my conscience.

An example is the Yahoo Answers Guidelines which I speak against at every opportunity because they are butt covering nonsense that devalidate ALL expression of thought. Why would I endorse rules that allow bully-trolls to run a petty fiefdom on the internet, even though I had to sign on to them for the privilege of criticizing them.

I am going to put my answer in logical steps.

1- Are we designed accurately or designed in vain?

Ex: look to your eyes and how it let you see the external world.

Ex: look to your hand and how it let you grab and touch various objects. and so on.

Just look to your body system and the system in the universe, you would agree with me 100% that the design is so sophisticated. and fantastic.

2- is there a designer for the amazing design?

ex: if you see an amazing car that you like, automatically you think of how intelligent the designer is. Right???

Ex: if you see an amazing decoration of a house, automatically you think how the designer is intelligent and creative. Right??

Same here, is not logical to say that for the design of our bodies and amazing universe there is a designer??? Especially if it designed so precisely and accurately.

3- since there is a design and a designer , there’s supposed to be a purpose for the design.

ex: if you see a fridge, automatically you will think how good it is to keep your food cold.

ex: if u see the whiteboard in your classroom, automatically u think how it beneficial to write on it.

same here when people see their bodies and amazing universe, people

- Who are living in the moment don’t think deeply will say I don’t care about anything just I wanna enjoy my life. This is my goal in life.

- who are logical will say there’s 100% purpose. but we don’t know what is the purpose of life.

Since Designer knows for every design there a purpose of a design , he chose a prophet to spread the purpose of the design to all mankind.

the designer is Allah (god)

the book is Quran (holy book)

the prophet is Mohammed (a man of best of Allah creation)

the purpose is to follow book of Allah

the reward is seeing the designer(Allah) and living in paradise(life to have pleasure permanently forever!!!)

Allah want us to use our logic that he gave to us to use it to choose which life we want. comparsion:

this short life goal- people to follow Allah , to pass the test

next perementant life goal - people will have maximum , ultimate plesure by seeing the creator , and living in paradise.

this short life- people will find many disappointments

next permanent life- , no death, no sickness

this short life - pain

next permanent life- people will find happiness , if you a man, allah promises will reward us the most beautiful women!!!!

So at the end the you are the on who has the choice.

If you choose to follow your temptation and selfish desires, at the end you cant run from death and that time you will know what the creator will do to you.

But if you choose to depend on you logic and follow the creator of your body and the universe by being humble and doing good deeds. by Allah mercy you will enter paradise.

I could. But you wouldn't follow it unless you do it yourself (and that's a good thing). I mean that sincerely.

Good new is, I just gave you the first one.
