I slip in my periodicals whereever i can. when eating breakfast, lunch breaks, using the bathroom. While its a tad rude if others are about, it is an effective way to use the time, and it helps me from wolfing my food down too much. I probably have a bit more free time than you during the day, which makes it easier for me to scan the on line materials tht interest me.

Knowing when the new issues are released can help you determine which magazines should be read, and when. I try to knock out the local newspaper as soon as I can in the morning, though sometimes I don't succeed. If I don't, well, I'll either find out online or I wont need to know what was in it. With the monthlies you have a lot more leeway. You also need to decide, do you need or want to read them cover to cover, or are there articles you ecan skip? Most music/entertainment related "news" bores me to tears. That's a few minutes less to read the magazine right there. Finally, consider allowing yourself 30 minutes each night to read things. You don't have to finish a magazine a night, but in 3-4 nights you can knock out a weekly, and still work on the monthlies. You have 4 weeks to work on the monthlies, so it shouldnt take too long to work out the reading order.

Hire a personal assistant to help to run errands, organize, clear the clutters and filter out the articles according to your preferences.

i have the same problem - wanting to do more than time is alloted....so I kick back and ask myself the real question - why am I doing this and what do I really want out of it?

Then I cut, cut, cut out my time wasters.......and I stop spending my money on "stuff" to say I have a subscription to all this "stuff"...and I focus my real goal on being the best architect I can be...

but in the end I find my peace in my servitude to God...

Pretend you're going to bed earlier, and during the extra time of sleep, read your periodicals. Then go to bed at the time you usually do. If it doesn't work, wake up a bit earlier and read them. It works for me sometimes!
