Consider this, that without language there would be no war. Arguments and disagreements, all created by language, which is called thinking, create hate, enmity, and fear of others who are different. When language is treated like the important tool that it is, instead of just being taken for granted, would we use language in a way that helped create a kinder, better, society for everyone? A hammer is a wonderful tool, but a chimpanzee cannot build anything with it. Language is also a tool, and humans don't seem able to build anything with words that further words are not capable of destroying; like society.
Language, the way humans use it, equals war! Is this tool that God supposidly gave us to much for our tiny minds to handle? Let's have some feedback on this most important question.

I completely agree. Although I must say, wars can and would go on even if we did not have speech. Arguments and conflict happen, no matter what abilities are taken away from us. Still, we take what we have for granted, and many times it seems like the people around us don't appreciate their capability of speaking. Instead, they let awful and degrading phrases just roll out of their mouth, doing nothing but allowing us to have a more negative outlook on them. Unfortunately, we can't all be intelligent. Choice is loved in this world, and if some people want to make themselves look stupid with their words, that's their decision. Opinions can always be expressed. Now all we need to do is have a respectful attitude when we voice them.

"Chimps can't build with hammers"???.... WOW! That's genius.

Greed, corruption & ignorance is what causes wars and most all other negative aspects of humanity. Language is also used in those things as well and plays a role yes, but really has nothing to do with their source or cause.

Its human nature and human beings are inherently flawed by design.

Ah, but a master carpender can show you a hammer. When you can show me the meaning of love, god, time, ect. then we will can start to make it better. And even then who decides which language we will use? There are no simply answers.

What happened was liberating.
