Einstein Said time is illusion but I think that's wrong, something being illusion meaning it has no effect but why the sun goes up and down then?

'Time' exists in the imagination!
Thoughts exist!
Imagination exists!
Thus; 'time' exists!
Everything exists! Even 'illusion'!
Beyond the imagination, Reality is literally 'timeless', but I won't bother you with the science...

No. Time is not an illusion. If it were, how could I bake a cake for 25 minutes and have it come out perfect? How would I know when to pick up the kids from school? How would we ever coordinate anything? Perhaps time means something different to scientists. But for me, time is real.

The earth spins on it axis as it spins around the sun. the sun stays motionless "relative to the earth." earth takes a bit less than 24 hours to make one complete revolution, but we still use 24 hours to the day.
Also takes 365-1/4 days for the Earth to make one complete revolution around the sun but we still use 365 days and add a day one year in 4 and call it Leap Year.
So, yeah time is artificial because it does not work in the natural world.

Is your perception real?
Time is based on your perspective, the sun is based on your perspective... any given object is based on your perspective.
For example, you can look very closely at it and its many different parts that make it up will not necessarily resemble it as a whole.
So then, the real question that all these things are relative to is: what is your ability to observe anything in the first place and what are the limits of that perspective?
I find the brain almost more interesting than reality itself because it is the thing that gives your own personal subjective account of reality, with no room for biassed wishful assumptions. There's an awful lot of human-centric assumptions in thinking that complicate things more than needs be.

Time is a conversation. It allows us to meet up with others as agreed upon, it allows us to say when the cake will be done. We need this conversation about time in order to function in our world. There was a period when clocks only chimed at noon. The only important times were sun up, noon, and sun down. These days, we could every nanosecond as important.

Yes. I find everything to be an illusion. Nothing is real, but what is nothing?

Yes
Time and Space are illusions
So is this world or ''reality" we live in.
We are all dreaming and hallucinating actually
Nothing is Real!
