are robots alive like us.?

we often think of computers and even robots as just pieces of hardware that work by the rules we programmed it and they are limited to how we built them and in no way are alive.
but after watching an episode of through the wormhole with Morgan Freeman where this was talked about they shows a few scientists who work with computers.
one scientist who believes robots can feel emotions built a small robot that does feel.
if he taps it hard on the back with his pen the robot will move away and say ''pain bad'' and if he rubs it on the top it probably say something like ''comfort good''
what he did next was put something that look like a green battery in front of the robot and smacked it.
he put a blue battery in front of it and rubbed it.
so after a few times doing this when ever he puts anything green in front of the robot it will say '' green bad''
and when it is blue it will say ''blue good''
so already this robot has something similar to pain and comfort. i am not sure if it actually feels pain but i found myself thinking when he smacked the robot that it might have been cruel of him to do that and i find it weird to think that because on one hand it is just a computer can it really feel pain like us but on the other hand if it is built to feel pain and comfort and is terrified when it sees something associated with pain then it must actually be in pain.
an other scientist and robots of his did a language based test.
somehow he got them to create their own language that he and us can not understand.
he had 2 robots stand in front of each other and they starts talking and he noticed one robot was giving other commands.
the robot giving the commands had spent that day look at itself in a mirror moving it's body around.
so when this robot stood in front of the other it would say something and the other would move an arm or something and the 1st robot would either shake it's head and the 2nd would move again until the 1st robot would nod.
so the scientist did it with himself and he found out one word meant move your arm the other meant move both arms and so on.
so what this shows is the robots have in some way become self aware the robot knew it was itself in the mirror and was asking itself questions like is this my arm and can i move it and after learning this it would go to it's friend robot and show it how to move and the 2nd robot would be able to learn.

so are these examples that prove robots are already alive like us and by us i mean organic life.
like an ant can feel pain it knows what to avoid that will bring pain it can learn and ants can talk to each other. they are intelligent and alive they are no where near as smart as us but we consider them alive and be considered cruel if we were to do something to bring them pain.
basically what we are witnessing is something like a new breed of life. it is kinda like we went back in time to watch the 1st humans learn how to talk and such.

so again in the case for these 2 types of robots the one that feels and the ones that talk would you consider them alive even if they are on the same level of intelligence as a bug

There are two scenerios presented in this argument. Firstly, the issue of emotions. The evidence provided for the fact that the robot "feels" is that it moves away when hit saying "pain bad", and will say "comfort good" when rubbed (and will respond to other objects given the same treatment). However, I feel that this doesn't show a complete understanding of emotions. An emotion is defined as "a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with others". The robot could have been programmed this way, responding differently to a strong hit and a light rub respectively, which is therefore not "natural". Furthermore, there is a whole lot more to emotions than simply pain and comfort, like love, sadness, and anger, just to name a few.

Secondly, the issue of communication. The evidence given is that a second robot and even the scientist would be able to respond well to the first and eventually learn something from it. This seems to be pretty strong considering that they are able to learn and actually gain new knowledge just by talking to each other, as shown by the movement of the arm.

According to you, being "alive" means being able to feel and learn. I would say that robots are not yet able to feel completely but are, in fact, able to learn, so (according to your definition) they are not quite "alive".

The most advanced robot had a camera to detect how a situation is being handled or how a person is talking to them. The robot will also hear what sound are around them. If loud, the robot will react like us.

If a robot was more alive, the robot would learn everyday things by itself, like a learning processor (we have a brain). Technology like this isn't really out yet, well... not advanced enough anywho.

No, they are not nor ever will be Alive Like Humans

However, Science is finding a way to Humanize how a robot acts

The robot is not alive. There is a difference between a machine and someone who is alive. A robot is a physical machine. We are partly a physical machine but that is not all we are.

No, there is no blood in a robot.

Luke 11

49 Therefore said the wisdom of God, I will send them Prophets and Apostles, and of them they shall slay, and persecute,

50 That the blood of all the Prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation,

51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zechariah, which was slain between the altar and the Temple; verily I say unto you, it shall be required of this generation.

They can have primitive, rough "emotions", but who knows, what can be further as they will develope. All that Sci-Fi movie can become true one day.

i think there will no robot like that, if it will (defend oneself, learning ), it will be terminator movie
