No dear, it's the only play - where there are NO rehearsals !
And we get to play our roles but once, and only once.

It's not a dress rehearsal, it's the actual performance. Like someone else said about Shakespeare, he commented that we're all just actors on a stage. I think it's true, maybe for different reasons. I don't think we are controlled by anything, per se. But I think we control ourselves so that we can change how we appear to others. We're all just acting the part we think others want to see. The sad part is, this is our only chance, acting or not.

Life is no dress rehearsal. Life is the main event. One may either become involved in the show or one may simply be a spectator. Either join in or get left behind.

No life is a journey, and I believe in reincarnation. I believe we come here to earth to learn lessons and grow our souls. When we go back to "heaven" we review what we learned and decide with "GOD" whether we have more to learn or not. We come to earth as many times as we need in order to be enlightened souls. Each time we come to earth it is for real or opening night, we have no dress rehearsals because this is it. Perhaps if we don't learn the lessons we need to know we simply don't get to be enlightened and I think our purpose to be enlightened to make the world a better place.

Yes, Lady Death, life is merely a dress rehearsal. To death.
Hope that helps!

from William Shakespeare...
all the world's a stage
and men and women are merely players
they all have their entrace and exits
and one man in his time plays many parts
Not sure if it belongs to All's well that end's well though...

You got that right. Shakespeare said the same thing --- we are all actors in a play.
