When you think that you should have spend a certain amount of your time for something better, that time was wasted according to your opinion.
However, is that particular time truly wasted? You might not have spent that time for something you think is useful, but could that be useful in some other sense?
I think that whatever you do contributes to your overall knowledge and experience. It doesn't matter what you do, as long as it is not something unethical or criminal, there is nothing wrong with it.

Time is a resource, just like money. It can be spent now, or it can be invested in the future.
Time can be wasted...if you spend so much time on a project that you didn't think was worth it. For example, the best place for chicken wings that I've ever eaten it is a three hour drive from my house (each way). Even if I ignore the cost of driving, those great wings aren't good enough to merit 6 total driving hours. I wouldn't drive all the way to the restaurant just to eat lunch, and then turn around and drive home. That trip would be a waste of my time, even though the wings really are delicious.

No, I don't believe it can't be wasted...but that's just my opinion. Time is nonexistent. Everything in the course of your life has already taken place. There is no past, present, or future. So every moment that takes place, even if it seems to be wasteful, eventually leads to another event that somehow makes an impact on your life. Therefore, the moment was not wasted. Make sense?

Time cannot be wasted if one is learning from the time spent. If one does not learn, then, yes, that is time wasted.
The poet Delmore Schwartz once wrote, "Time is the school in which we learn/That time is the fire in which we burn" (from `Calmly We Walk Through This April's Day') and this is true. We die a little every day - so we want to make the most of that time we have.
A quote I've always found significant is this one from the film `Breaker Morant': "Live every day as if it were your last for, one day, you're sure to be right."

Time cannot be wasted. It's how you spend your time doing things that you should do or just relax. When people say it's a waste of time, it means that they could do something better or spent their time doing something that might have benefit them.

we'll die one day.
no, time can't be wasted as whatever we're working for will also be what we leave one day.
yes, it can be wasted if we don't use our life as a platform to find the one who creates us, as it's the essential thing to fulfill the real meaning of life.
you don't want to die regretting, so do I, so do all of us.
so don't waste time by finding the right path to put your faith on, thus contributes towards unmeaningless righteous deeds. tell others, spread the truth while reminding yourself at the same time, about the day where there is no return, the day when death has reach your collar bone.

Time can be wasted by doing something you have no desire to do. So yes, I do believe time can be wasted and better spent.

Time is the stream of flowing temporal events perceived by creature consciousness. Time is a name given to the succession-arrangement whereby events are recognized and segregated. The universe of space is a time-related phenomenon as it is viewed from any interior position outside of the fixed abode of Paradise. The motion of time is only revealed in relation to something which does not move in space as a time phenomenon. In the universe of universes Paradise and its Deities transcend both time and space. On the inhabited worlds, human personality (indwelt and oriented by the Paradise Father's spirit) is the only physically related reality which can transcend the material sequence of temporal events.
Animals do not sense time as does man, and even to man, because of his sectional and circumscribed view, time appears as a succession of events; but as man ascends, as he progresses inward, the enlarging view of this event procession is such that it is discerned more and more in its wholeness. That which formerly appeared as a succession of events then will be viewed as a whole and perfectly related cycle; in this way will circular simultaneity increasingly displace the onetime consciousness of the linear sequence of events.

No time can't be wasted it can only better spent doing something else on your "time".

Time can be wasted and time can be well spent (used) but time can never be saved.
And furthermore, if you never TAKE time, how can you ever HAVE time? But that's another story for another day.
