Question:
Isn't real problem of humanity is not being evil, but allowing evil?

All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.

We see corrupt and wicked people rise to power and ruin things for everyone. We allow crimes to happen

and do little about it personally.

As much as the perpetrator is to blame, we must also shelter the blame for letting things happen. Had

people step forwards up it such evil would have never happened.

Which is why terrorists target civilians more than government, because it is we who allow bad men to be

in power and commit evil things with that power.

People are unwilling to stand up and do the right thing. They instead sit back quietly as if they never exist.

There will come a time when you yourself will come under the need of help.

What then if there were no one to help you?

What you say is true. But it is a fairly obvious fact that the vast majority of the human population are "followers" and not independent spirits that determine their actions on the basis of a deeply held set of convictions ( which, almost by definition, IS true for those that set out to control others). Historically, the bad actors usually disappear from the scene, either naturally or by assasination but they certainly do much harm in the process. The sequence of events that allowed Hitler to gain the power he had over Germans (most of whom DID NOT agree with his notions) is a good model of this and, most certainly this sort of thing will happen again and again in the future. PERHAPS education could change this but I personally doubt this becuase I believe truly evil people are born that way and not "made" by society(as Rousseau thinks).

The way the world is heading can be likened to a ship that is sailing into seas that become more turbulent and perilous by the day. Though no one wants to go in that direction, all efforts to change course meet with failure. The vessel just moves headlong into the deadly tempest, unstoppable.

To some extent, this ever-deteriorating situation can be attributed to human imperfection. (Romans 3:23) Still, the scale of evil, its ubiquity, and its relentlessness seem out of proportion to the malice that can be attributed to humans alone. Is it possible that mankind is being manipulated by an unseen but powerful and sinister force? Jesus acknowledged that humans are capable of wicked acts, he pointed to the very source of evil—Satan the Devil. The extent of Satan’s evil influence is revealed at 1 John 5:19, which states: “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.” The Devil is maneuvering mankind into a tempest of increasing woes. In fact, he is more determined than ever to do harm.

So, we should stop people based on their ability to do evil? Yes, we allow evil to rise to power but of those that we allowed to rise, were they always evil to begin with or is it something that came over time. Evil is also very subjective in nature, as what I feel as being evil would differ greatly from what another views as evil.

If no one allows evil some might become evil allow evil and and more become evil no matter what you do always be evil this is the cruelty of reality you and no one else can do anything about it unless you have superpowers which you don't which is why you are helpless to stop evil

some peoples brain is wired differently so WE see their acts as pure evil.

Some people become evil in deeds as we perceive them.

But we alone cannot cure the worlds ails pure evil in front of us we can maybe do something about but a band of evil people we just hope governments can do something about.

Cannabilisam was classed as evil in that era but at one time it was classed as taking in out enemies strengths. So it seems the definition of evil changes with the era we live in.

It's called bureaucracy, where governments get "punished" by the UN and international attention for making ONE minute mistake... but the terrorists get to do whatever they want and we can barely scratch them.

This argument is old.

Evil is thriving. That is nothing new.

You get what you focus upon.

I do what I can not to pay attention to the doom-seers.

Remember, thoughts are creative. If you think about evil, that is what you are creating.

If you ignore it, it's effect is reduced. If you pay attention to it, you fuel it.

All 'evil' exists in the (vain, judgmental) eye (thoughts/imagination) of the beholder!

YOU!
