For instance, it used to be the world was thought to be flat. Now it's not. Or, it was agreed that the world was the center of the universe. Now we know different. I wonder what "absolutes" of today will be disavowed in tomorrow's world . . .

Reality is transitory....today's science is tomorrow's myth. As technology advances, the old science is debunked and new paradigms of reality are formed. Thankfully, science is not sedentary or stagnant, otherwise we'd still be living in a flat earth society...

Whatever nature forces us to obey is reality.

Some laws are controversial. Raising the dead is a lot more difficult to buy as one knows more about dead, it's real permanent. But can we break the speed of light?. Will parts of 3 demensional reality become victims of relativity? The overall effect will be the stacking of proven laws of physics, and the discarding of misinterpretations of physics. No law found to be adequately describing reality such as Newton's laws of gravity will be tossed. These things were discovered by man, not made by man. Actually, Eratosthones in the 3rd century BCE calculated the circumference of the earth to a few %. That the earth was round was common knowledge then.



Newton's physics continues to work today; Einstein refined the data and added general relativity and so forth, but the Newtonian science accuracy was not outmoded, at that level. Old laws such as f=ma were not tossed.

Science is one way we take an educated guess as to what is.



Not quite accurate to say the 'old' laws get tossed out though.



The world will remain roughly spheroidal and it will never return to the center of the universe. Einstein didn't really toss out Newton, he just expanded our understanding. The Milky Way didn't go away when Hubble discovered other Galaxies.
