Question:
What have you learned from History?

History...
Its a collection of what we have done.
.. a vast amount of knowledge and experience if we choose to look at it.
Why is it that yesterdays mistakes are still being done today?
How many times have you said... "I shouldve dont it this way."
... but still done it the other way.
With all this amount of knowledge... we should be better than this.
For some reason.. we choose to ignore the teachings of the past..
.. and experience the failure for ourselves of the challenges of today.
Is it human to go with emotion other than what is logical?
Time and time again... history can prove us wrong.
but we insist.. this time it may be different.
this time maybe its going to change.
Maybe its our stubborn thinking.
Maybe its our determination that WE can do it.

History...
Without history, we can not have a future.
But why does history have to repeat itself?
I guess its like a dream.
... you cannot continue where you left off.
as we get older...
the next generation will have to go through exactly what we went through.
Its like we are never meant to have a full understanding of the past.
Is it for our own good?
Maybe there are somethings in history that will forever be a secret.
The meaning of life?
The beginning of life.
The end of life.
And the after life.
Maybe we will never know.
Maybe there is nothing to know.
Its probably what makes life more enjoyable.
The pleasure of not knowing...
... and being able to start fresh with a new canvas everytime a new baby is born.
being able to do what you want today.. no matter what happened yesterday.

History...
How can we learn from it?

History...
How can we UNlearn from it?

A lot of people say that those who don't study history are doomed to repeat it. But I think that statement is false. Most of the time, when history is repeated, it's because the person or group is copying someone from history and is not ignorant about it at all.

For example, the President of Iran has studied Adolph Hitler, and idolizes him, and is trying his best to repeat what Hitler did.

Many muslims are stuck in history, and love the old ways and study nothing but the old ways and they repeat these old ways because they love hate, they love death, and they love violence.

i in my view locate history fairly exciting, yet it quite is in simple terms me. i'm very captivated with the help of discovering how historic societies formed and thrived, or deteriorated. The recommendations, artwork, track, subculture, and so on., of a society can let us know lots approximately our very own. all of us likes distinctive issues. i in my view did not strengthen an pastime in history until eventually my 20's. earlier that, as an occasion while i replaced into in extreme college, i presumed fairly lots the comparable ingredient you do. i think of lots has to do with how the textile is provided.

The main things that history teaches us is the absolute untrustworthiness of most people, the cruelty of people when faced with difficult decisions, the lack of imagination in solving problems, the absurd religions that people think are divine and blindly follow.

I have learned that people are intolerant & un-accepting about "differences". Differences can be Race, Religion, weight, etc.

If you not considered in the norm you will be shunned, mocked, ridiculed by society.

We learn from it by attempting to be tolerant & share views with others. And it is impossible to unlearn it... but you can adj. do to what you have learned.

I think history is important to our life as you elaborated. But history is most abused & misunderstood part of life. History as a subject deal events in time.

History do have some characters that makes it very puzzle parts of life. The first is that history is seen as a binary features: history outside us & history inside us. Ouside history is written on paper or in other material form & inside mean it is embedded in the gene of each people.

Mostly history is considered as written on paper; and history on blood is not considered. Blood history pass from paresents to offsprings via blood or gene & being told orally from parents to offsprings or remain hidden. while history outside us transfers via written ways or material remains. Inside & outside reinforce each other. we mostly learn outside but little consideration is given to inside parts as it is unseen & difficult to detect.

Another very subtle character of history is time. As to time calculation, in any society there is 'before' & 'after'. 'Before' represent history. but 'before' is undifferetiated from 'after'. The concept 'now' or 'contemporary' can be wider on consensus to 30 years back but if we see it objectively, there is no 'now' except life being locked between 'before' & 'after'. 'After' could be wider or smaller but it is infront of us yet linked with 'now'/life as 'before' linked with 'now'/life.

Therefore, History has dual and three natures

Dual Sense: ouside-inside (inseparable)

Three nature: Before-now-after (inseparable)

The question is why we fail to aviod mistakes of yesterday....In above dicussion i said 'before' is linked with 'now' which i said our life. So past mistakes are still with us until we cease to live 'after' or die 'now'. Before determine 'now'/us & 'after' is determined by 'now' becuause they are in link & inseparable. we may die without telling it but in our blood history is written on the blood of our offsprings. without pre existing code to detect in our body it is impossible to learn some knowledge which we do not know....

I think the only way to aviod negative history from us is death. modern history tells us creation of so many institutions to aviod war or unnecessary deaths related with injustice. But wars or death tolls or past mistakes increased very much. Is it possible to cut past mistakes while still alive? I think if we have such capability, it require some no human intellgience,
