What is success to you personally?

What do you consider success to be? Is is achieving what you want? Getting what you want? Having what you want? How do you personally know when you are a success? If you are not a success does that automatically mean you are a failure? Is there a middle ground? It seems a bit like a mathematical problem. The "answer" is either right / correct or its wrong / incorrect. With success if you are not a success are you a failure? Is it possible to be unsuccessful but NOT be a failure? How so?

To me being a success means working towards ones goals at any given moment.....you truly fail only when you give up and thats all that matter. You can have small failures then and still be a success. You cannot predict or control life but you can die facing your goals and no one...not even god can stop you from doing that.

For me anything which i wanted to do in my life and made it right is already a success for me...

but in any thing that i do and i am not successful with it then it's called unsuccessful....failure and unsuccessful is 2 different 2 words...

failure is hopeless while unsuccessful is slight failure but we still have a chance to make it again and be successful of what we want to attain in the life.

This is how I define success.

Success is having your desires fulfilled.

If you think about it, for a person to feel successful,

connotes satisfaction. That is, feelings of success

are an emotional state of mind. And I believe that

comes from having your expectations, or desires

fulfilled. And your desires, can be anything.

You ask some pretty complicated questions that are

really hard to answer in the most basic terms.

So, do you get more satisfaction from asking

the question, or seeing the interesting responses?

I see success as achieving something even if it's something small. Everyone has to have success at some point so why not start with the small things in life.

Seeing my children grow up happy, healthy and balanced to become an asset to society in whatever they chose to do. Being a good partner and mother are the only success measures for me. Being the best that I can be.

success ,when you live your life good and do the right thing even when people do the the wrong

sleep at night without feeling guilt

cause the worst failing is when you fail to make yourself behave

thats the worst kind ever

Success is mastery of life, mind and world. Living according to ones own principles, never compromising, and setting ones own aim, goals and intentions.

Success if being in complete control of ones spirit. Economic freedom no worry of accounting. The ability to set ones criterion of happiness or melancholy as one see’s fit ...

Success, to not suffer or endure but choose to life life in the manner and style one chooses, with as much pain, happiness and liberty as one deigns to accord oneself.
