Internet is just one of the modern way to kill time.

Life was a lot more difficult pre-internet. I was only about 15 when we got AOL with a dial up connection. We had prodigy service before the internet came out, but it was pretty useless, so we cancelled it. It was an online encyclopedia and a few games. Not worth the monthly fee or the wait on 9600 bps modems (That's about 10,000 times slower than todays cable modems).



I would get much more use out of the library, probably watch plenty of TV and read more.

Same stuff I did before the internet. Actually call people on the phone and talk... with words... with my own voice. And I would go visit people... at their actual houses. And I would read books... made with real paper. I would probably be talking to my husband right now, too, instead of him watching TV while I'm typing here. In fact, that's a very good idea. Thanks!

Well, I would start by reading more. Then I would actually do my homework at home. I think I would go out more. I might actually have a life, instead of the one I created here.



He he, I really am a loser. That's pretty funny. Either way, I'd probably die. If I didn't die of natural causes, I'd surely kill myself.

I would go hiking more, or go play trivia at my local bar. They have modems and dialup there. Before the internet we used to have, gasp, Bulletin Boards. Those were the good old days!
