The road to truth is paved with humility, sincerity and devotion. Humility is what gives us the ability to learn. Sincerity makes it real. Devotion to the heart will be the light that illuminates the way. When there is a sincere desire to know the truth, and we are humble enough to learn then we can meet the teacher who can show us what we want to know. Devotion to the heart will tell you when you have met the teacher, because the teacher is a manifestation of the heart. The heart will recognize, not the mind. The heart will not accept anyone else.

The distraction is unconsciousness. Just as we make effort to stand up and walk, we also must make effort to remain conscious. As soon as we slip we will be distracted from what we, as human beings, need to do. Once we enter the land of unconsciousness there are zillions of distractions.

There is no road to truth. The distance itself is the distraction. Any separation between the truth and yourself is the distraction, as the truth is given, simple, clear, and evident. It exists and never veils itself. Only human choice can turn away from the truth.

When we come to our truth as a living truth as needed with all, us comes in contact with truth with-in, we then are ourselves.

When we speak with out love of our self coming forth and to be gathered as a new whole, we are only distraction, unless the Son is present he is alone in heart of God, but if the Father and the Son is present in speech we have pure truth in spirit ours at work, truth with we then are our self is true in Jesus Christ this one.

Let us head the lesson,

and obedient to truth with all .

The Lord be the Glory of all men in truth,

This is Jesus Christ in us as He came in the flesh to do, join as one.

The of road of truth is the one your own feet tread upon. Distraction is looking at everyone else's road...

i think lucian has apoint

subjectivity in truth is important, but, we dont usually if ever have it

so really our own mind is what i think is the main distraction, its also the main reason we WANT truth in the first place

hahah, ironicly irritating

the road to truth id probably say is just, living, expereincing and learning as much as we can, with as much objectivity as we can manage

Jesus told us the road to eternal life is difficult. The distractions are all kinds of temptations and trials and the cares of this world.

Matthew 7:13-14 (New King James Version)

The Narrow Way

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

When I was a young man back in the early sixties [flower power] I followed a certain Indian guru, he was my savior,... and he replaced Christ.

It had taken me 4 yrs to discover that he was a sham, and I remembered a passage in my old bible

...you can tell a good tree by its fruits [in Matthew]

I came home to christ.

My best regards...Denis.
