How long can you go without seeking information?

Question

Someone said recently that humans are 'information-seeking' by nature.

How long could you go without information - without news of any kind, including family and friend news, without any new piece of knowledge entering your melon unless it originated in your melon itself?

we process information constantly, even with out the information highway.



I suppose the only time we would not do this is in a meditative state





We even mis inform our selves often

As long as was necessary. That said, I can't imagine a situation where total ignorance was ever necessary.

At least several hours.



I was once put to sleep for surgery and I felt as if nothing had happened at all. I can't recall anything DURING the actual surgery at all. I was talking a bit and answering questions until next thing I knew, the doctor said the surgery was over.



I was unconscious, meaning my melon couldn't receive new information nor could it create any on its own. Yet, here I am, proof that at least SOME time can pass before I completely die from lack of new info.

I think, It Depends on My "MELON" While It is Flying with the SELF Memorable Experiences, It Sometimes Needs the "GOSSHIPS" of the Movies Stars and the "MASALA DANCES with the MUSIC" and Also It wants to Acquire Some BETTER INFORMATIONS of Our World, So, It "AUTONOMOUSLY" Switch on the Remote of the TV According to the Time Schedule of the Programs.

if we stop seeking information, will they stop feeding misinformation? i don't think so. they in the first place, forced people to seek information from them as they gave misinformation sometime in far past ...



now we are in lyfestyles required information. it's not possible for everyone just start having fun.

Not sure I can go long enuf without seeking info. I mean I rely extremely on my laptop, and now ipod, and the TV, and my coworkers and you :)
