what would you give as a gift to a great man who helped bring peace to humanity?

in as much as peace is important, anyone whose aim is to bring peace to all mankind should be honored. i just want to know what kind of gift you will give to such person when you have a meeting with him. and what are the possible talks you would hold to help end poverty. also what other discussions would you discus if you meet such a great man of this nature. thanks

It is important to know that there are also significant hers involved in that effort.



What gift to give him, or her?

Pay very close attention to hiser statements and actions, and try to emulate them, based on understanding the motivation, and methods. If you get to meet himer, ask how to help accomplish the goal, and be sincere in your actions.

Defend himer against unjustified detractors.



Daisaku Ikeda is such a person. He, and his wife have spent their entire essence, since 1947, to help humanity create peace. The difference in phrasing is deliberate. You can't bring peace. People have to want to create it, and use the method to do so, once they learn of it.



I have never directly met Daisaku Ikeda, or Mrs Ikeda, yet have been in meetings where he has presided. i have followed THEIR actions, speeches, writings for many years, and have done my best to do justice to the motivation, and the method.



That is why I wrote the gshp; to bring the concepts to current times, and present them from a cognitive science perspective.

No one has yet brought peace to humanity. Some have brought messages of peace, and advice for achieving peace, but no one has brought peace. I'm saving my most precious gifts for the time that someone does.

I doubt my tiny input would end world povery, great men are rarely out of the public eye nowadays

so I just do what I can to help when needed and where it helps a few.
