Death cannot be unfair as it is unavoidable, it does not discriminate. There is no one who can live forever and get a fair deal.

I don't believe so. I view death as the portal to our future.

No one alive today had any hand in being born. You could say that LIFE is unfair as there is such disparity in the quality of the lives on this planet. We had no say in the hand we were dealt. LIFE is the great "laboratory" where we try to figure out answers to the questions posed in this life. We all know the questions; why are we here? Is there a God? what happens after death? How we deal with LIFE governs our moral compass, ethics etc.

Death (I believe) brings us not only answers to our questions but prepares us for whatever is next. I believe our ultimate purpose is to return to God. I also believe that how we live our LIFE determines our readiness to do that. We can't do that while we still have life so...our death is our invitation back to the source of life, no matter the name we call him / her by.

Death is something that scares me a lot, but it's natural. It's not unfair if you live a full, happy life. We all can't live forever, or else it would overcrowd the planet and make it impossible for other people to have a chance at life. It's the circle of life. :-)

yes and no. death is not unfair, it just seem that it unfair because you have to go sometime but you think that you do. death is unfair because nothing you do can evade it. it relentless and has patience enough to wait till the end time. well in the end ask him yourself.

No, people says it is unfair when the person died at young age specially when she/he is a baby. But there is a reason why people died early. And God knows the reason why. Everybody will die and there is no escape for that but everything is set by God when He take us to the final home...

It's unfair, but with medical advances we will be able to avoid it by the middle of this century.

I do alot of reading and I read that before we come to Earth, we have a meeting with the Guardians who don't want us to come to Earth. They say Earth is a trash can full of hardships. So if we decide to come to Earth, we make our charts and when, how, and what age we are going to die. What all we endure on this Earth is supposed to get us to a higher spiritual level. I must of wanted to get to a higher level quickly due to my hardship life experiences ranging from adoption-not having the love of your parents, to severe illness, to many other hardships. I think someone stole my chart on the other side and gave me their's cause really, I can't believe I chose all this cr...

Of course not! Death is part of the transformation process we humans must face to become greater species, something extrodinary and beautiful. To evolve into the limits of perfection.

generally speaking, death increases the value of each day of life

an infinite life would likely decrease the value of a given day

so, on behalf of all living creatures, i say thanks death!
